Eastern Visayas composed of six provinces namely Biliran, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Samar, Leyte, and Southern Leyte is popular for having abundant  marine and agricultural resources throughout  the region. With the  ingenuity of its people, from these resources emerged variety of products. These products are known for their attractive appeal, export quality and most especially for their  productive use.

Most of these products are used as house decors, furniture and personal accessories. Some are found on our table and others are taken for health and medical purposes. Processing/producing these products has become the major source of livelihood to many families in Eastern Visayas.
