The Project Watch The Project Watch is an e-publication of the Regional Development Council (RDC)/Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) aimed at providing up-to-date information on the overall status of project implementation as well as their issues and concerns through the world wide web for the information of its members and the general public. The Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) was established through Executive Order (EO) 376. The same executive order established the Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) in 2 November 1989. The system provides a scheme for monitoring and evaluating projects at the national, regional, provincial/city and municipal levels, with the extensive and active participation of various government agencies, local government units and nongovernment organizations (NGOs) at all levels. Through the system, generation of information on the overall status of project implementation at each level and the detection of problems that impede implementation will be facilitated, so that remedial actions can be readily undertaken at the level nearest the project sites, and at the earliest time possible. The information on the status of projects monitored by the system are being published by the Project Watch. This publication contains the status reports of all projects monitored by the system and their issues and concerns. Other information such as list of newly completed projects, pictures of ongoing projects taken during the conduct of field monitoring, and lessons learned and success stories of project implementation are also included in this publication.
